Message	:whats the voltage across the battery terminals when you have the car running? Is your alternator toast, or it could be your battery... :by slips I assume you mean it cranks but wont turn over :It sounds a little harsh to be lifter tick which would be my first assumption if you havent been driving the car hence you having to jumpstart it...VTC, idler pulley possibly? I'm taking the car to my uncle thats 40 miles away. You guys think it's ok to drive with that noise? He works on alternators and starters all types of electrical. I sure hope its something simple.
